Clarity Unveils Groundbreaking Digital Clarity Power™ Technology in Latest Cordless Amplified Telephone

- C4205 uses technology typically found in hearing aids costing thousands of dollars - Chattanooga, Tenn. –

Clarity, a division of Plantronics Inc. (NYSE:PLT) and the nation’s leading supplier of products for the Hard of Hearing community, today introduced the first cordless amplified telephone available through its Clarity Professional® brand, a specialized product line that features hearing solutions for those who experience a moderate to severe hearing loss.

Clarity’s products allow those with significant hearing difficulties to easily use telephones. The C4205 amplifies incoming sound up to 40 decibels and incorporates the groundbreaking new Digital Clarity Power™ technology. Digital Clarity Power provides unparalleled sound quality by utilizing advanced technology typically found in hearing aids to make soft sounds audible while keeping loud sounds bearable.

The C4205 alerts its user of a call with a bright, flashing visual ring indicator on the handset and base of the telephone. The C4205 also assures a user will not miss a call with the use of a handset that can vibrate while the phone is ringing. Ensuring every user will experience hassle-free, clear and reliable communications in their home, the C4205 uses 2.4GHz cordless technology.

Standard features of the C4205 include: a large lighted dial pad, vibrating handset ringer, and a 2.5mm headset jack for hands-free telephone calls and a 3.5mm audio output port.

The C4205 may be purchased through Clarity Authorized Distributors. Manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $149.95. For more information about Clarity or Clarity Professional™ products, please visit www.clarityproducts.com or call 1-800-552-3368.
